Bambi

Bambi is 4 weeks old today and needs your help.

Feline specialist Dr. Elaine Wexler-Mitchell said Bambi has a serious congenital defect called flat-chested kitten syndrome, which causes breathing difficulties.

A wire brace has been constructed to splint Bambi’s chest area, which hopefully will expand the chest area to help Bambi breathe.

Bambi will be frequently monitored with vet visits and require supplemental feedings in addition to nursing to improve survival.
