Human Options Hosts ‘Serious Fun’ Fundraiser

Human Options major fundraising event Serious Fun will be held on Friday, May 21 at the Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach. “Happy Days for Human Options”is a light hearted, casual-attire event with a 50’s/vintage theme. All proceeds benefit Human Options programs and services to help battered women, their families and the entire community break the cycle of domestic violence.

A highlight of the event is the presentation of the 2010 DOVE Award to Human Options supporters Artyn and Max Gardner who have made significant contributions of time and financial gifts to the organization.

Special live entertainment includes the band of former Righteous Brother member Lee Ferrell and Friends. Another special presentation is the premier of the video “For My Mother” a conversation with a leading Orange County business and community leader who speaks for the first time of his experiences of growing up with domestic violence.
