BOYS HOPE GIRLS HOPE OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

16th ANNUAL GOLFER’S CLASSIC, MAY 3, 2010

The 16th annual Golfer’s Classic to benefit the Boys Hope Girls Hope of Southern California, a privately funded, non-profit organization that provides full wrap-around care, including a quality education to children from at-risk backgrounds, will take place on Monday, May 3 from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M at the Santa Ana Country Club in Orange County.

Boys Hope Girls Hope of Southern California is a program that helps academically capable and motivated children-in-need to meet their full potential and become men and women for others by providing HOPE: value centered, family-like Homes, Opportunities, positive Parenting, and Education through college.

The Golfer’s Classic is the biggest fundraiser of the year; in 2009 the fundraiser brought in $230,000 for the boys and girls in our care.

Boys Hope Girls Hope aims to raise over $250,000 this year through our tournament and live auction.

In the past, this popular tournament has become nothing short of a premier event, attracting the elite of Orange County and Los Angeles, who have returned.

“Everything associated with this tournament; the golf, participants, facilities, food, and the cause is of the highest quality in Orange County,” said Damon Bennett, resident of Costa Mesa, who was one of the 100 golfers at last year’s tournament.

The Golfer’s Classic is also an excellent opportunity for corporate and civic leaders in our community to come together for a truly worthy cause.

The day will consist of the following activities: a round of golf, prizes, giveaways, delicious food, an outstanding live auction, including exotic travel packages, fine wines, and gourmet gift baskets and an opportunity drawing.

Cocktails & Hors d’oeuvres begin at 4:30 P.M. and the Live Auction begins at 5:30 P.M.
