The successful Huntington Beach Reads One Book program needs more volunteers. HB Reads is now entering its fourth year and planning the 2011 book selection.
The types of volunteers needed include:
Webmaster – the HB Reads website, https://www.hbreads.org/“>www.HBReads.org, is already created. HB Reads needs a technical volunteer who can do periodic updates.
Marketing – Do you have experience in writing and working with the media? Can you help get the word out and promote this great community program? Several marketing volunteers are needed.
Community Outreach – Do you like working with community groups? Sign on to help with the next HB Reads program!
Special Events – HB Reads hosts a variety of events relating to each year’s book. These are fun opportunities to help out!
HB Reads is a program of the Huntington Beach Human Relations Task Force. Books with a diversity theme are selected to celebrate, entertain and inform, and to bring people together in our common humanity. Learn more about the program and the previously featured books at https://www.hbreads.org/“>www.HBReads.org.
