St. Joachim Eighth Grade Students Presented The Living Stations Of The Cross

Every year it is the honor of St. Joachim’s 8th grade students to present the Living Stations of the Cross at St. Joachim church, Costa Mesa. On Holy Thursday just before going on Easter break the whole school assembled in the church and watched the last presentation during this Lenten season.

The Fourteen Stations Of The Cross, that retell the journey of Jesus carrying his cross from the Hall of Pilate where he was condemned to death to the site of his execution on Golgotha, came alive with Buddy Mitchel as Jesus, Megan Daly as Mary, TJ Terazevits as King Herod and other eighth grade students sensitively acting out the biblical scenes. As the students performed, their peers and parishioners listened to two student presenters telling the story of each of the fourteen stations.

Living Stations of the Cross is an annual Lenten event at St. Joachim church in Costa Mesa and a beautiful way to prepare oneself for Easter.
