Douglas Robert White

Douglas Robert White passed away March 31, 2010.

He was born in Pittsfield, MA and relocated to Costa

Mesa in 1950. He was a member of the first graduating

class of Costa Mesa High School, and then continued

his education at Orange Coast College and Long

Beach State University where he earned a Bachelor of

Arts degree in Geology. For 25 years, he worked in the

computer operations center at Coast Community College

District offices in Costa Mesa, CA. In July 2009, upon

retirement, he moved to Pueblo, CO.

Survived by his brothers, Leon White of Albion, MI

and Raymond White of Pueblo West, CO; six nieces and

nephews; and special friend, Charlotte Clark of Irvine.

Preceded in death by his brother, David White of Costa

Mesa, who died in 1986. A graveside committal will be

held at a later time at Harbor Lawn Cemetery in Costa
