Marissa Strabbe named catering and conventions services manager for The Westin South Coast Plaza

Marissa Straabe has joined The Westin South Coast Plaza as the catering and conventions services manager.

Prior to accepting her new post, she was the catering sales manager at the Doubletree Hotel-Anaheim/Orange County. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona.

“We are delighted to welcome Marissa to the hotel and know that with her strong background in both catering and convention services, she will be a great asset to our team,” said Jennie Hoffman, the hotel’s director of sales & marketing.

Other upgrades include a wedding gazebo to comfortably accommodate up to 250 people, and a “Grab ‘n Go” coffee/bakery/retail shop to offer guests the ultimate in convenience.
