Loehmann’s opens 21st California store

Loehmann’s is coming to Costa Mesa.

Loehmann’s will open at Metro Pointe Center, 901 South Coast Drive, in a 40,000-square-foot store March 12, according to a news release.

Loehmann’s offers designer clothing and accessories at prices that are 30% to 65% less than at department stores. The store opened its first location in New York more than 80 years ago.

Loehmann’s now operates in more than 60 stores in 16 states. The Costa Mesa location will be the company’s 21st store in California.

The Costa Mesa location will have on hand a personal shopper to help customers pick their outfits, from evening wear to shoes and accessories.
