Dr. Thomas Wentworth Doan

On January 21, 2010,
Dr. Thomas Wentworth Doan
passed away from natural
causes with his family by his
side.
Dr. Doan was a man of pride
and honor. After serving in
the U.S. Navy, Dr. Doan later
graduated from USC Dental
School in 1954. Following this
great accomplishment, he
settled down in Newport Beach where he established his
prominent dental practice until his retirement in 1992.
Aside from being a renowned dentist, Tom was a
gentleman, who had a talent for telling great jokes. He
had an undying love for his dogs, he also loved being on the
water, and was always immersed in a good book.
Tom is survived by Dorothy, his loving wife of 41 years; and
his three daughters, Dennie, Callie and Marel along with 11
grandchildren; and his loyal companion, Ruffi n.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA.
