Meals on Wheels expands service

Laguna Beach seniors will now have three meals a day through Meals on Wheels, provided by Langlois Frozen Foods, according to Mission Hospital Laguna Beach, which sponsors the meal program. Holiday service will also be provided beginning Feb. 1.

Langlois is a Laguna Beach-based food provider for Age Well Senior Services (formerly South County Senior Services).

Langlois frozen entrees are sold at Costco and Trader Joe’s.

Instead of two meals a day, participants will receive a hot lunch, a cold sandwich or a frozen entrée for the evening meal and a breakfast for the next morning. In addition, a monthly menu will be delivered.

Also, weekend and holiday meals will be available upon request. For more information, call Mission Hospital at (949) 499-7575.
