Two schools get new leaders

Two Costa Mesa-based private, healthcare-focused, post-secondary institutions have announced leadership changes.
American Career College has selected Al Nederhood as its new president. He previously served as its executive vice president of operations.
Nederhood now will be responsible for faculty and support personnel, accreditation, curriculum development, academic assessment, policies and procedures, and budget management for the school’s three Southern California campuses. In addition, its sister school West Coast University has appointed Ravi Tripuraneni as its program chair for its bachelor of science in business administration. The program will launch at West Coast’s Los Angeles and Ontario campuses in February.
Tripuraneni has taught in the Cal State University system and at Chapman University.
