Nick I to sing on Christmas Eve
All are welcome to join singers Nick I and Mary Scifres, accompanied by Pam Wicks on piano and Bob Hawkins on guitar, at Neighborhood Congregational Church’s Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. Thursday
The Rev. B. J. Beu will describe Jesus’ birth, and Nick I will debut a new composition reflecting on the shepherd’s experience of Christmas and sing his Laguna Christmas original “It Never Snows.”
Choral music, hand-bell music, flute music from Laguna Beach High School student E. J. Kramer, and traditional Christmas carols, along with candlelight and “Silent Night” will round off the special service.

Christmas plans at St. Mary’s
St. Mary’s Episcopal Church will hold a series of Christmas services.
The schedule is:
7 p.m., Monday: Taize Worship;
4 p.m. Christmas Eve: Pageant with Carols and Holy Eucharist;
10:30 p.m. Christmas Eve: An Evening of Carols and Holy Eucharist;
10 a.m. Christmas Day: Hymns and Holy Eucharist; and
10 a.m. Dec. 27: Christmas Lessons and Carols and Holy Eucharist.
