He leaves behind his Children, Robert Miller Jr. (Ann), Jolee White (Craig), Don Miller( Tricia), Jim Miller (Cindi), Tom Miller (Edye), Carol Prairie (Tracy), 17 Grandchildren, 3 Great grandchildren with one on the way, and his Sister Maxine Keeny as well. He is predeceased by Joan Miller his loving wife of 56 years. Together they raised a large and beautiful family. Papa leaves quite a legacy and a wonderful example to us as parents and what it is to be a grandparent. An avid sports fan, he was often at games, competitions, dance recitals and other numerous activities of his children and grandchildren, always with a video camera and camera capturing every moment through the lens. Sundays were spent at Papa’s for all day football. UCLA was his alma mater and rooting for the Bruins was one of his favorite pass times. Bob was a skilled craftsman and was in the Marine Canvas Business for over 30 years. He retired from his Business Miller Marine Canvas in 2005. In retirement, an avid bowler and golfer, he sculpted wood, which won first prize at the OC Fair, built beautiful tile mosaics, and tended to his spectacular garden. We will all miss his “Papa-isims” and his great sense of humor. A tribute to the life of Bob Miller will be held on Saturday November 28th, 2009 noon to 3pm at his home in the garden he loved. We miss you and will always have you in our hearts.
