It’s fine, I have a condition

A caller reported narcotics activity when her neighbor began smoking something out of a bong in the 9800 block of Adams Avenue at 2:34 p.m. Tuesday.

The caller said she had talked to the man, in his mid-20s, about it before. The caller said the man told her it was OK because he had a medical marijuana card. The caller reported she had been told he couldn’t smoke in public. Officers advised the man he can only smoke in private.

Heil Avenue: A caller reported a loud party in the 4800 block at 1:53 a.m. Tuesday.

Warner Avenue: A caller reported a disturbance when several juveniles with skateboards erected a rail in a parking lot in the 6800 block at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday. The caller said it created a hazard for customers to drive through.

California Street: A caller reported his neighbor listed his house on Craigslist and poured water on his roommate’s motorcycle in the 1200 block at 2:14 p.m. Tuesday. The caller said the neighbor is a drunk.

Main Street and Walnut Avenue: A caller reported a drunk driver in a white Toyota Tacoma trying to get to a gas station at 2:03 a.m. Tuesday. The caller said he saw the driver leaving a bar with him.

Pacific Coast Highway and Goldenwest Street: A caller reported two suspicious males trying door handles in the 20300 block at 7:42 a.m. Tuesday. The caller said they looked about high-school age and were walking toward Magnolia Street. Officers said the boys were students at a local high school and admitted to checking cars.

14th Street: A caller reported vandalism on his gray Chevy Tahoe in the 600 block at 8:26 a.m. Tuesday. The caller said someone had painted on the car, but they weren’t sure if it was permanent. The caller had parked the car out front and said it looked like other cars were also damaged.

Beach Boulevard: A caller reported petty theft after cosmetic items were shoplifted over the weekend in the 19100 block at 10:39 a.m. Tuesday. The caller said they had no suspects.

Lake Street: A caller reported vandalism after a tree was cut down in the 900 block at 11:47 a.m. Tuesday. The caller said they had replanted the tree several months ago after it had been cut down.

Main Street: A caller reported a drunk driver in a silver Dodge Ram in the 18800 block at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday. The caller said the driver was supposed to have someone drive him home, but they got into separate cars.

Brookbay Circle: A caller reported vandalism after a brick hit their car window, bounced off and damaged the garage door in the 9700 block at 1:54 a.m. Tuesday.

Brookhurst Street: A caller reported a beer run at drug store at 9:23 p.m. Tuesday.

San Antonio Street: A caller reported petty theft at 2:58 p.m. Tuesday.

Brookhurst Street: A caller reported vandalism at a bank at 10:06 a.m. Tuesday.

Newhope Street: A caller reported a vehicle burglary at 5:27 a.m. Wednesday.

Los Tiempos Street: A caller reported petty theft at 5:44 a.m. Wednesday.
