Shoes’ Debut

Shoppers started lining up before dawn outside H&M; at South Coast Plaza on Saturday to buy gladiator sandals, thigh-high boots and ballet flats from the new Jimmy Choo collection.

About 400 people showed up at the store on Saturday for the debut of the H&M; Jimmy Choo line.

The designer shoes can cost more than $600 on the Jimmy Choo website.

A pair of boots can run as high as $1,200 for the high-fashion-minded.

However, shoppers at H&M; could nab a pair of Choos for less than $200.

The new discount designer shoe collection arrived in about 200 H&M; stores nationwide on Saturday.
