RIVERSIDE — Senior Lauren Draganza shot eight-over-par 79 to help lead Newport Harbor High to a fourth-place finish Thursday and advance to Monday’s Team Final.
Charlotte Skjonsby shot an 85, Morgan Moody carded an 86, while Lindsey Hanna and Ali Thomas both shot 89 to also help the Sailors move on to the 16-team event at Mountain Meadows Golf Course in Pomona.
Arcadia scored 417 to win the Central Team Divisional.
Newport Harbor had tied with Troy, but the Warriors took third because they had a lower sixth-player score than the Sailors’ sixth.

Pacific Coast League finals
ORANGE — Melanie Powers, Marissa Cummings and Kristina Funahashi finished 1-2-3 to lead the Corona del Mar High girls to a championship Thursday at Irvine Regional Park.
The Sea Kings, who advance to CIF Southern Section preliminaries, scored 20 to win dominating fashion, as University was in second with 70 points.
Powers was named Female Athlete of the Meet and finished with a personal record, 16 minutes, 59 seconds, lowering eight seconds from her previous best time.
Cummings finished in 17:17, a PR that shaved 11 seconds off her previous best mark. Funashi was 23 seconds faster than her previous PR, coming in at 17:32.
Ashlee Powers was sixth, in 17:46, which 1:21 better than her previous best time. Shelby Perez finished eight in 18:08, a nine-second improvement and Sarah Keddington took 10th in 18:20.
On the boys’ side, CdM finished third to also qualify for CIF. The Sea Kings scored 63, behind champion Beckman, 33, and second-place Uni, 46.
Austin Barvin led CdM, finishing sixth in 15:23. Blake Myers (11th in 15:37), Sebastien Welch (12th in 15:37), Derek Satterfield (15th in 15:46) and Alex Turney (19th in 15:49) also competed.
Orange Coast League finals
SANTA ANA — Hunter Strodel finished fifth in 19:39 to help the Costa Mesa girls finish second Thursday at Centennial Park.
The Mustangs advanced to the CIF Southern Section preliminaries.
Laguna Beach won with 22 points, Costa Mesa (59) and Estancia (69) followed. Costa Mesa’s Kaitlin Yamamoto finished seventh in 19:48 and Raquel Friedmann was eight in 19:58
On the boys’ side, Estancia finished second with 65 points behind Laguna Beach (24). Costa Mesa was fourth with 88.
The Mustangs’ James Stucker finished sixth in 15:48 to qualify for CIF preliminaries.
