Caller reports man exposing himself
A caller reported a man exposing himself to passing women in the 200 block on Wichita Avenue at 7:20 a.m. Friday.
The caller said the man was standing in the window of a vacant house while he pleasured himself and banged on the window to get the attention of passing women. The caller was notified of the incident by another woman on the street.
Police officers searched the property, but found the man gone. They did find the front door ajar.
Graham Street: A caller reported a disturbance as 12 juveniles played tag at a park with a BB gun in the 16600 block at 7:10 p.m. Friday. The caller said they were worried about damage to the park. Another caller reported the same incident and said they were concerned the kids were shooting at the playground equipment.
Edgewater Lane: A caller reported someone had emptied their trash can in front of their front lawn in the 16600 block at 8:21 a.m. Friday. The caller said the subject dumped the trash can, too.
Talbert Avenue: A caller reported an aggressive petitioner collecting signatures for legalizing marijuana usage in the 8200 block at 9:25 a.m. Friday. The caller said the petitioner became aggressive when he refused to sign the petition.
Queens Lane: A caller reported a misdemeanor assault after her 16-year-old son had an unknown type of liquid thrown in his face by his cousin in the 17300 block at 5:04 p.m. Friday. The caller reported the liquid was burning him. The officers found the two cousins to have been playing with pepper spray.
Alabama Street: A caller reported a loud party with half a dozen people drinking in the streets in the 2200 block at 11:09 p.m. Friday.
Hess Lane: A caller reported almost his entire record collection had been destroyed inside his house in the 2100 block at 9:06 p.m. The caller said he suspects his roommate.
11th Street and Orange Avenue: A caller reported a blue beach cruiser bike with a white basket on front stolen at 9:02 p.m. Friday. The caller claimed to have the suspect’s information. The bike was valued at $200.
Newland Street: A caller reported an ashtray stolen from his porch in the 21800 block at 5:15 p.m. The caller said he hadn’t seen anyone around, but had seen someone on his porch earlier. The caller said he was concerned that someone was on his property and reported the mobile home park has had problems with vagrants.
Yorktown Avenue: A caller reported juveniles “on a binge” as they played on a jungle gym in the 9800 block at 5:13 p.m. Friday. The caller said they believe the kids were drinking.
Atlanta Avenue and Bushard Street: A caller reported a drunk driver at 2:23 a.m. Friday.
Varas Circle: A caller reported a man bought his laptop from him with fake $100 bills in the 8300 block at 1:32 a.m. Friday. The caller said the fake bills totaled $900.
Santa Catherine Street: A caller reported a noise complaint at 11:04 p.m. Sunday.
Dove Circle: A caller reported suspicious circumstances at 1:24 a.m. Monday.
Bushard Street: A caller reported a noise complaint at 12:09 p.m. Sunday.
Brookhurst Street and Ellis Avenue: A caller reported a reckless driver at 12:16 p.m. Sunday.
Cardinal Avenue: A caller reported petty theft at 1:48 p.m. Sunday.
Bunting Circle: A caller reported a domestic dispute at 9:40 p.m. Saturday.
Brookhurst Street: A caller reported a reckless driver at a fast food restaurant at 9:45 p.m. Saturday.
Ellis Avenue and Bushard Street: A caller reported a drunk driver at 11:19 p.m. Saturday.
Santa Isabel Street: A caller reported a loud party at 1:11 a.m. Sunday.
Gull Circle: A caller reported a suspicious person at 7:12 p.m. Saturday.
Magnolia Street and Garfield Avenue: A caller reported a drunk driver at 8:25 a.m. Saturday.
El Lago Avenue: A caller reported a juvenile disturbance at a park at 9:54 p.m. Friday.
Calle Madero and Ward Street: A caller reported a suspicious subject at 6:55 p.m. Sunday.
Slater Avenue and Los Jardines West: A caller reported a juvenile disturbance at 8:26 p.m. Sunday.
