Club helps donate 1,000 Halloween costumes

There will be more trick-or-treaters running around in full costume this Halloween, thanks to the Boys & Girls Club of Huntington Valley.

The organization teamed up with toymaker JAKKS Pacific Inc.’s Halloween division to donate 1,000 costumes to Oak View Elementary School students.

Kids were able to pick out their favorite costumes and, for some, their first. Kids could choose to be a beautiful Disney princess or a Power Ranger. Students could even dress up as the evil and slimy Davy Jones from “Pirates of the Caribbean.”
