YORBA LINDA — Senior Lauren Draganza shot a three-over-par 39, earning medalist honors to help lead the undefeated Newport Harbor High girls’ golf team to a 209-237 Sunset League win over Esperanza at Black Club Golf Course Tuesday.

Newport Harbor improved to 14-0, 7-0 in league.

Charlotte Skjonsby finished with a 41, followed by Ali Thomas (42), Morgan Moody (43) and Linsdey Hanna (44) .

The Sailors play host to Corona del Mar in the Battle of the Bay today at Santa Ana Country Club at 3:30 p.m.

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Senior midfielder Brooke Nelson scored a goal Tuesday as the Sailors remained undefeated in Sunset League play.

Stephanie Storch assisted on the goal 10 minutes into the first half. Sydney King made five saves in the shutout for Newport (7-1, 5-0 in league).

NEWPORT COAST — Sophomore middle blocker Zoe Kreitenberg finished with 10 kills and four blocks in the Lightning’s 25-16, 25-6, 27-25 Academy League victory Tuesday.

Tess Wohrle had 10 kills and four service aces for the Lightning (7-8, 3-0 in league), ranked No. 3 in the CIF Southern Section Division IV-AA coaches’ poll.

Sage Hill plays host to No. 2-ranked St. Margaret’s on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
