CureDuchenne brings out glamour
The Newport Beach-based nonprofit CureDuchenne will host a charity poker event at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel and Spa to raise money for medical research on Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
There is no cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a lethal genetic disease that affects roughly 1 in 3,500 young boys worldwide. Dealing for Duchenne, 6 p.m. to midnight Oct. 10, will feature casino-style games, dinner, live and silent auctions and live entertainment.
Admission to the gala is $150 per person.
To buy tickets, call Sean Marshall at CureDuchenne at (949) 872-2552 or visit dealingforduchennefallgala.eventbrite.com.
