NEWPORT BEACH — The Sailors advanced to today’s semifinals of the South Coast Tournament.

Newport Harbor will face Loyola of Los Angeles today at 10:40 a.m. at Newport. The winner advances to the final at 4:05 p.m.

Blake Kelly, Zach Lucas, Dane Sequiera, Farrel South and Jon Walters scored one goal each for the Sailors (6-0).

Loyola 8, Corona del Mar 5

CORONA DEL MAR — Max Bergeson scored two goals for the Sea Kings in a quarterfinal of the South Coast Tournament Friday.

CdM will play against The Bishop’s today at 8:30 a.m. in a fifth-place semifinal.

Estancia 11, Costa Mesa 4

ANAHEIM — Joey Dinh scored three goals for the Mustangs in the Grafton Weiss Memorial Tournament at Magnolia Friday.

Costa Mesa Coach Justin Taylor said he had only seven players for the game and two were taken out after three fouls. Estancia broke away from a 4-4 tie after being up six against four players late in the third quarter, Taylor said.

CORONA DEL MAR — Morgan Boukather had 13 kills, four blocks and two aces in the Sea Kings’ 14-25, 25-17, 19-25, 25-23, 16-14 nonleague win Friday.

Madie Smith had 34 assists and Katelyn Baker added 14 digs for CdM (8-2)
