COSTA MESA — Junior Megan Case scored four goals on five attempts for the Sailors in the nonleague win at Harper Community Center Tuesday.
Senior Lauren Chandler added two goals, while juniors Taylor Cordiero and Mary Yeager scored two goals each. Seniors Claire Layton and Kim Ramser contributed one assist each for Newport Harbor (3-0-1).

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Kirby Burnham had 19 kills and eight digs for the Sailors in their 25-22, 25-12, 30-32, 25-22 nonleague road win Tuesday.
Katey Thompson added 14 kills and three blocks, while Maddie Brown had 17 kills. Kelly Heenan had three aces and 18 digs, and Mackenzi Campbell contributed 40 assists and four digs for Newport Harbor (6-1).
The Sailors will play in the Durango Tournament in Las Vegas, starting Friday.

IRVINE — Senior outside hitter Lindsey Kish had eight kills and 10 digs for the Lightning in the nonleague match Tuesday.
The Timberwolves won, 19-25, 25-15, 25-16, 25-10.
Maddie Gordon-Lavaee had five kills, two aces and 10 digs, while Anna Jeffrey had four kills for Sage Hill (2-7).

COSTA MESA — Ashley Peters shot eight-over-par 43 to earn medalist honors for the Eagles in the Golden West League opener at Costa Mesa Golf & Country Club’s Mesa Linda course Tuesday.
Lissa Morel (43), Maritza Gonzalez (45), Nicole Irigoyen (46) and Cassie Stevenson (47) also scored for Estancia (7-2, 1-0 in league).

LAGUNA WOODS — Tess Crane shot five-over-par 41 to earn medalist honors for the Sea Kings in their Pacific Coast League opener Tuesday at Laguna Woods Golf Club.
Hyebin Hong shot 43, while Caitlin Shinohara and Amanda Johnson both carded 44 for CdM (2-4, 1-0 in league), which had Grace Kim score 45.

NEWPORT BEACH — The Lightning took six sets in doubles with Rian Billingsley and Katie Bick sweeping, Devyn Billingsley and Liana Korber taking two, and Sam Murray and Lauren Hsu taking one during the nonleague match Tuesday.
Sage dropped to 3-5 while Mater Dei is now 4-2.

ANAHEIM — Junior Charlie Umansky scored nine combined goals in two games as Estancia High beat Magnolia, 12-7, and lost to Santa Ana Valley, 14-12, in pool play Monday at Magnolia High.
Junior Preston Schow had five goals against Santa Ana Valley and junior goalie Connor Graham had 28 combined saves in the two games.
Estancia (5-4) will play Costa Mesa in the tournament Friday at 6 p.m. at Cypress High.
