to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Newport Beach, CA – Local St. Jude volunteer committee, the Orange County Friends of St. Jude, will host the seventh annual Endless Summer benefit for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital on Saturday, September 19, 2009. “Endless Summer on the Riviera ~ Grand Prix in Monaco” will be held by the Baypool at the Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach.

This festive evening includes a delicious plated sunset dinner, hosted specialty cocktails and dancing to the lively sounds of The Buzzcatz. Plus, guests will have an opportunity to view some of the world’s most exclusive cars including a Bugatti Veyron, valued at $1.7 million. The Buggatti Veyron was the winner of the first Monaco Grand Prix in 1929 (among many others). Other cars on display include a Porsche Carrera GT, two exotic classic cars and a Bentley.

Guests will have the opportunity raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to help children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases through a silent and live auction. Items of the live auction include: An opportunity to experience a 30 minute test drive of the Bugatti Veyron! The Veyron, valued at $1.7 million, is the fastest and most expensive production car in the world, 0-60 in 2.5 seconds! An Ultimate Day of Beauty hosted by Saks and South Coast Plaza with a light champagne breakfast, facials, style consultations, $1,500 in gift cards from Saks and South Coast Plaza and more.
