UC Irvine Extension offers free webinar

WHAT: In today’s society sustainability and “green” living are top concerns affecting everyone. To meet these demands UC Irvine Extension has developed a Sustainability Leadership Certificate Program and a new Specialized Studies program in Sustainable Buildings: Renewable Energy Management designed to help participants achieve broader career goals and understand how sustainability relates to business.

The free one-hour online Webinar event titled, “The Top 10 Ways to Green Your World: People. Planet. Profit,” will provide insights into sustainability as a new trend in the corporate world.

WHY: Integrating sustainability into business provides the individual with a competitive advantage. It is vital to understand the importance of greener living and how it relates to corporations. Webinar participants will be provided with key tips for developing sustainable business solutions and how to incorporate them with day-to-day management activities.
