Hebrew Academy adopts ‘Smart Boards’
Students are moving into the future come fall, with the newest technology at the Hebrew Academy of Huntington Beach.
The academy is unveiling new “Smart Boards†that will take the place of traditional white or chalk boards. The new installation will make the academy the first Jewish day school in the country to adopt the full system. The boards are fully interactive and use touch technology.
“The boards have energized our teachers, engaged many students that were previously passive in class, and it seems to make a difference in a student’s learning even at an early stage of first grade,†Jenny Kedoshim, the school’s director of special events, said in a release.
The academy is at 14401 Willow Lane, Huntington Beach. For more information, call (714) 898-0051.
