Women’s nonprofit to host festivities

New Directions for Women, a residential alcohol and drug addiction treatment center, is holding an open house at its facility in Costa Mesa on Wednesday afternoon to demonstrate how its program helps women recover from substance abuse problems.

The nonprofit wants to show the neighbors that it is a positive addition to the area.

An In-N-Out catering truck will be on site, along with a bounce house, a clown and a booth serving snow cones.

The event takes place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at 2607 Willo Lane.
