Salon cuts hair for Avon breast cancer walk

Meleesa, the Salon, 211 Main St., Suite E, will host a Cut-a-Thon to support an Avon Walk for Breast Cancer participants from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 30.

Haircuts will be $25 for women, $20 for men and $20 for kids.

Additional services will include $2 bang trims, $5 eyebrow waxing, $10 makeup touch-ups and $10 deep conditioning treatments.

All service profits, as well as 20% of all Bumble and Bumble product sales, will be donated through walker Leanne Voigt to the Avon breast cancer foundation.

Refreshments and a deejay will also be on hand.
