Gene A Miller, “Papa”

Gene A. Miller, “Papa”, 73, a retired member of the U.S. Military, and a resident of Costa Mesa/Newport Beach for 35 years, passed away on August 9, 2009. He was born in Buffalo, New York on October 15th, 1935. He was an incredible father to three and an even more incredible “Papa” to 11 grandchildren. His license plate said it best, “Papas are great, but I’m the best”. He is survived by his three children, Jody, Tracy and Rick; His eleven grandchildren, Brodie, Brice, Briggs, Bowie, Brelynn, Brianna, Brinley, Chance, Chandler, Sianna and Kirin, and countless friends that were touched by him. His Funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 16th at 2:30pm at the Pacific View Mortuary, in Corona del Mar.
