Police are looking for robbery suspect

A bank robber is still on the loose, days after he robbed a Costa Mesa Wells Fargo Bank threatening he had a gun.

Police are looking for the man who walked into the Wells Fargo Bank, 2970 Harbor Blvd. in Costa Mesa, about 10:45 a.m. Saturday and handed the teller a note demanding cash.

Police said the man indicated he had a gun under his clothing, but no bank employees actually saw a weapon.

The robber exited the bank through the east side doors with his loot in hand.

No one witnessed him getting into a car, officials said.

Police did not offer a description of the man Monday.
