Drop off unwanted electronics today

The Orange County Performing Arts Center is collecting old, unwanted computers, printers, cameras, cell phones and a variety of other electronic devices today and Saturday.

Many of the items can be harmful to the environment if thrown in the trash because the chemicals and materials they contain go unprocessed into landfills.

Electronic devices can be dropped off at the center’s community plaza off Avenue of the Arts between Sunflower Avenue and Anton Boulevard in Costa Mesa.

Items will be accepted from noon to 6 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
