The Huntington Beach City Council is seeking Huntington Beach residents to serve on a 15-member Charter Review Committee.
The committee will commence the first major review of the city charter since 1978, and develop a new version.
Applicants must be 18 years old, a registered voter, and a resident of the city of Huntington Beach. Applications can be submitted online or by picking up an application at the City Council office on the fourth floor of City Hall.
The city anticipates that the committee will begin its work in June, and meetings will be held biweekly in the evening.
