Fountain Valley police have identified a man who allegedly shot two people before being killed by officers April 27.
Jose Luis Castillo, 36, was killed after police say he shot his ex-girlfriend and her boyfriend during a domestic dispute in the 18400 block of Pacific Street.
Police were called to the scene, where they say Castillo shot both victims, who survived the attack, before pointing his gun at officers, who shot and killed him.
The case is now being investigated by the county district attorney’s office, as is routine during officer-involved shootings.
