Minor A division
Express 9, Bats 8: The game was decided in extra innings when Noah Driscoll scored the winning run by hitting a towering blast to right-center field. Express hitting was led by Driscoll, who went three for three with a single, triple and an inside-the-park home run. Brad Vega and Ryan St. Pierre each went two for two with two runs batted in, while Dylan Carter and Cameron Prohaska both went two for three with an RBI each .The Express defense was led by Kiefer Klaetsch, who made an outstanding catch in right field to save a couple of runs during the late innings.
Muckdogs 9, Redwings 8: A great team effort for the Dawgs included Jose Gallo, Jacob Haffner and Jack Donahoe with 2 hits apiece. Marcus Flum had a hit and an RBI to go with his great defensive play at first base. Ben McConnell, Brad Monroe and Kaylen Demay also added to the hit parade. Josef Arevalo played well including a great running catch in right field. The pitching star was Nigel Flum, who went 2 2/3 innings, big considering that the Dawgs were missing a starter.
Justin “Kong†Cianca hit a home run for the Red Wings.
Knights 11, Bulls 4: Stellar pitching by starter Chase Foreman, mid-reliever Trevor Windisch and closer Jake Legg gave the Knights the boost they needed. Timely doubles came by Gavin Shobe and Michael Baker, and Joey Durbin and Noah Muta have some of the fastest wheels on the team.
Minor B division
Rockhounds 9, Seadogs 4: The Rockhounds continued their winning streak behind strong pitching from Garrett Runyan, Austin Irvin and Karson Moore. Andrew DeCarlo continued his on-base streak with a frozen rope double to right for the sixth time in as many games, and Anthony Pablo scorched a single to center to start the second Rockhound rally of the day. Zachary St Hilaire, Brayden Utley and Chase Stewart all made stellar defensive plays to stifle several Seadog attempts at a rally, while Mason Stinson, Jeremy Dulcos and Drew Matthews all grinded out quality at-bats to contribute to the Rockhounds’ fifth victory in a row.

Majors division
Rays 14, Diamond Backs 4: Tommy Blood hit two home runs to get the Rays jump-started. Tyler Murray hit a solo shot for his 10th of the season, and Connor Hayes capped off the power surge with a grand slam. Ryan Smith notched another complete game victory, helped out by his defense of Nick Foucrier, Jake Barton, Jacob Pauley and Tucker deCamp.
Cubs 8, Dodgers 5: Noah Davis pitched a great game for the Cubs, while James Pierce also did great on pitching duties for the Dodgers. Clay Morris hit a home run for the Cubs to help get the win.
Minor B division
Tigers 7, Phillies 5: It was a great pitching duel as Zac O’hara and Jonathan Oatis each pitched three innings for the Phillies, and the Tigers hurler completely shut down the Phillies for two innings. The Tigers rallied in the sixth and came up with the win.

Majors division
Blue Jays 1, Red Sox 0: The Blue Jays won in a closely fought pitcher’s duel. Red Sox pitcher Austin Bramlett was pitching flawlessly and had a no-hitter going all the way into the fifth inning. The Blue Jays’ Nolan Winks then broke up the no-hit bid with an opposite field home run for the sole run of the game.
Winks has now hit home runs in four consecutive games. Blue Jays pitchers Ryan LeFevre and Winks each gave up only one hit each, while combining on the shutout. The Red Sox’s Bramlett pitched excellently, striking out 10 Blue Jays in five innings.
