Man allegedly makes criminal threat
A 911 caller said that after he fought with a man who owes him $10,000, the man threatened to cut off his head. The caller phoned police at 10:41 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Joliet Avenue. The suspect allegedly had priors for DUI, was a martial arts expert, and had been violent in the past to other people. He was arrested on suspicion of making a criminal threat.

AREA 1
Warner Avenue: A caller saw about four people in a laundry room with a bag of what may have been marijuana in the 6700 block at 12:19 a.m. Sunday.
Warner Avenue: A caller said their brother, who probably was high on methamphetamine, banged on their door in the 6600 block at 3:56 a.m. Sunday.
Warner Avenue: A caller said his friends went out partying and came home “with a random guy†whom they let sleep on their couch in the 6200 block at 5:27 a.m. Sunday. The caller said the man was acting weirdly, so his friends were going to lock themselves in the bathroom with their dog. Police arrived and asked the man to leave, but the women did not press charges.
Huntington Village Lane: A DVD player and charger were discovered stolen from a Cadillac Escalade in the 15500 block at 10:20 a.m. Sunday. A wallet also was found in the vehicle, which turned out to belong to a Westminster woman who also was a victim of the alleged thief.
Newland Street at Warner Avenue: People in a white Volvo were seen to be smoking marijuana from a pipe at 10:22 a.m. Sunday.
Sims Street: A woman said she was hit with a beer can after telling her neighbors to quiet down when they were holding a party Saturday night in the 16700 block at 10:38 a.m. Sunday.
Goldenwest Street at Warner Avenue: A bike rider said they collided with an automobile at 2:44 p.m. Sunday.
Waikiki Lane: A Suzuki motorcycle was discovered stolen from the 16000 block at 5:29 p.m. Sunday.
Edinger Avenue: A caller said he was beaten up after asking a man who was working on his truck to turn down his volume in the 8400 block at 5:57 p.m. Sunday. The other party said the caller tried to steal the keys to his vehicle.
Pacific Coast Highway: A group of juveniles walked out on a $56 bill at an establishment in the 16600 block at 6:39 p.m. Sunday.

Amberleaf Circle: Four callers said men that several described as “gangsters†were fighting in a rear alley in the 7700 block beginning at 1:16 a.m. Sunday. The men were seen slamming fists in vehicles, punching a hole in a laundry room wall and trying to fight with a caller’s cousin. At least one of the men was arrested.
Raphael Drive: A caller reported two juveniles who were possibly writing “gang symbols†on the sidewalk in the 5800 block at 12:02 p.m. Sunday. Police determined the juveniles were drawing with sidewalk chalk.

Main Street: A caller said someone threw a salt shaker at an employee at a bar in the 200 block at 1:51 a.m. Sunday.
Main Street: A caller said two men and one woman were inside an older minivan with a video camera in the 900 block at 12:22 p.m. Sunday. The caller said they couldn’t tell if the people inside were fully clothed.
Main Street: A female juvenile attempted to steal a bathing suit from a store in the 100 block at 4:49 p.m. Sunday. When she ripped off the security sensor, it damaged the swimsuit; she was detained by the store clerks.
Pacific Coast Highway: A vehicle was smashed, with a digital camera and clothing stolen, in the 200 block at 7:36 p.m. Sunday.

Brookhurst Street at Atlanta Avenue: A caller said she got beaten up on the way home from her friend’s birthday party at 3:07 a.m. Sunday; she said she was kicked in the face, legs and arms. The woman later filed a battery report.
Magnolia Street: A Covina man said two checks were stolen from his checkbook and used at a Huntington Beach Home Depot store in the 19100 block at 2:40 p.m. Sunday.
Lexington Lane: Two teens were observed using a coat hanger to attempt to break into a school art room in the 19600 block at 3:34 p.m. Sunday.

Recreation Circle: Petty theft was reported from an entertainment center in the 9000 block at 5:03 p.m. Sunday.
Santa Madrina Street: Juveniles disturbed the peace in the 18900 block at 10:51 p.m. Sunday.

Slater Avenue: Vandalism was reported in the 10400 block at 9:17 p.m. Sunday.
Kalama River Avenue: A shoplifter was taken into custody in an electronics store in the 10800 block at 2:28 p.m. Sunday.
Gardenia Avenue: Vandalism was reported in a park in the 9300 block at 9:07 a.m. Sunday.
Warner Avenue: A case of forgery was reported in the 9400 block at 1:27 p.m. Sunday.
Everest Circle at Azalea Avenue: Vandalism reported at 1:45 p.m. Sunday.
Brookhurst Street: Petty theft was reported in a diner in the 16200 block at 3:18 a.m. Sunday.
