Charges dropped for man arrested in robbery
Charges have been dropped against a Huntington Beach man whom police arrested on suspicion of robbing a market in Cypress at gunpoint April 1.
Aaron Burris, 24, was arrested April 10 after police received several anonymous tips about his possible involvement in the robbery of the J&B; Market, Cypress Police Department Sgt. Tom Bruce said.
He spent several days at a county jail before posting bail, authorities said.
Burris and his fiancée were able to prove through cell phone photos, canceled tickets and surveillance tapes that Burris was at a Los Angeles Clippers basketball game at the time of the robbery, authorities said.
A second suspect in the two-man robbery is still at large, a police department news release read.
