UCI and Learning Institute present ‘Engineers Without Borders’

University of California, Irvine Extension, along with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), join together to present “Engineers Without Borders” featuring Dr. Michael Gonsior, department of civil and environmental engineering. “Engineers Without Borders” is a non-profit humanitarian organization whose goal is to help communities in developing countries. Dr. Gonsior will discuss the future plans of the Orange County Chapter to conduct community based improvement projects in Honduras, El Salvador and Kenya. The luncheon is open to the public and will be held on Wednesday, April 29 at 11:15 a.m. on the UCI campus at the UClub McCulloch Library.
OLLI at UCI is a dynamic group of seasoned adults—both retired and semi-retired—who enjoy literature, history, science, the arts and travel. OLLI’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for mature adults by promoting intellectual growth and unique educational experiences in an environment of social interaction.
