“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his
Newport Beach home on Friday, April 24, 2009 from
complications due to pancreatic cancer.
He is survived by his wife, Annie; his brothers and sister,
Michael and Therese Quinn, Lilian and Jerry Scanlon,
and Kay and the late George Quinn; his U.S. children,
Derek, Heather, Jeff, Andrea, Andrew, and Wendy. He
was also “Granda” to six special grandsons; Scott, Grant,
Johnathan, Declan, Zachary Quinn, and Austin. “Uncle
Noel” was a favorite of numerous nieces, nephews, and
family in Ireland.
Noel was born December 13, 1939 in Cork, Ireland. He
ran a successful barber shop for over 40 years in Cork. He
moved to Newport Beach, California almost seven years
ago. He loved Opera, gardening, traveling, and a good
chat. Noel was a loving, gentle friend with a quick Irish
wit. Anyone who knew him was better for it.
A memorial mass will be held in his honor on Thursday,
April 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount
Carmel Church, 1441 W. Balboa Blvd. in Newport Beach,
California. A funeral mass will be in Ballycotton, Ireland
in the summer of 2009.

Network or your favorite charity.
