Neighbor offers girls CD from his band
A parent called to say their 9-year-old daughter and her friend were playing in their apartment complex in an undisclosed location when a male neighbor asked the two girls to come into his apartment, where he would give them a CD by his band. The girls told a parent, who called police. The neighbor told police that his band performs frequently at middle schools, and he had no ill intentions. He was advised against offering things to juveniles when their parents weren’t around, and he said he would comply.
