Happy hours extended through week

Locals looking to unwind after Tax Day drama will have plenty of special happy hour deals available through Saturday as part of the countywide Happy Hour Week.
Brix Wine Bar, 16635 Pacific Coast Hwy. in Sunset Beach, will celebrate happy hour from 4 to 10 tonight or from 4 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. It will offer eight wines at $5 per glass as well as a tapas menu featuring $4 pizza, honey and Gorgonzola appetizer or a bratwurst sandwich, as well as a $3.50 wet burrito. Dukes, 317 Pacific Coast Hwy., will offer specially priced bar entrees from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. through Friday, or from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday. It also will serve $4 mai tais Friday night in the Barefoot bar. Information: (714) 374-6446.
Next door, Savannah at the Beach, 315 Pacific Coast Hwy., will offer specials on bar drinks, lunches and dinners. Drink deals will be available from noon to 6 p.m., including $2 and $3 beer, $5 well drinks and wines, and bar food like $3 chips and salsa, or mahi or chicken tacos.
For lunch from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., try a barbecue chicken sandwich or blue cheese sliders with a cup of gumbo or chowder, organic greens and fries — or a lobster taco trio — for $10. Dinner will be served from 5 p.m. to close, and includes the restaurant’s famous $10 filet mignon, crab leg or halibut specials. For more information: (714) 374-7273.
Finally, the Red Chair Lounge at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach, 21500 Pacific Coast Hwy., will serve up house wine and well drinks for $5, $4 domestic beer and several food options like $5.50 mushroom ravioli, $7 Kobe beef sliders, black truffle and Parmesan fries for $4 and a five-cheese tasting for $9 or three cheeses for $6.
