Susi Q social set for Monday

The Ocean Institute will present a program called “Sex and the Sea,” from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Monday at the Susi Q Senior Center, 380 Third St. Participants will learn about marine life and how the survival of many species depends on creative sexual techniques.

Spring Senior Prom planned for April 25

The city of Laguna Beach Senior Services and the Assisteens of Laguna Beach are sponsoring a Spring Senior Prom from noon to 3 p.m. April 25.

The event will feature lunch, music, dancing, a picture-taking booth, bingo and prizes, hosted by the Assisteens at the Susi Q Center, 380 Third St.

On-site registration for summer classes

Convenient on-site registration for new, returning and continuing students who have difficulty navigating the registration process will be available from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Susi Q Center.

Senior art exhibit opens Saturday

The city of Laguna Beach and Community Art Project’s 2009 Senior Art Exhibit opens Saturday and runs through April 17 at Wells Fargo Bank, 260 Ocean Ave.

A reception and awards ceremony will be from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday.
