A man has been charged with three armed robberies at the same Huntington Beach pharmacy since September.
Andrew William Hansen, 27, was arrested shortly after the third robbery of the Bolsa Medical Arts Pharmacy on Bolsa Avenue on Saturday.
Police allege Hanson, armed with a knife and wearing a bandanna on his face, entered the pharmacy and demanded prescription drugs from the owner.
He then drove away in a car, but a witness recorded the license plate number, according to investigators.
Westminster police spotted the vehicle later, driven by Hansen, and asked Huntington Beach officers to come to the scene, where they put him in custody. A knife and prescription drugs were found in Hansen’s vehicle, authorities said.
In the first robbery, on Sept. 28, the suspect was armed with a handgun; on Feb. 12, the suspect had a knife, authorities said.
