Laguna Beach High seniors Caine Fair and Bryce Healey both earned first-team All-Orange Coast League status for boys’ soccer in a recent vote by league coaches.
Healey, a team captain, had seven goals and three assists for the Breakers (10-5-8), who finished 2-3-3 in league and in third place. Fair had two goals and seven assists as he also helped lead Laguna to the second round of the CIF Southern Section Division IV playoffs before losing to Burroughs, 2-0.
Seniors Noah Michelon and Tommy Hopper, along with freshman goalie Alec Williams, were second-team honorees for the Breakers. Hopper had a team-high 10 goals and Michelon, a sweeper, helped shore up the defense along with Williams.
Estancia seniors Jesus Garcia and Rony Argueta were named league Most Valuable Player and Defensive Player of the Year, respectively. Estancia won the league title.
