Downtown committee meets on last Mondays

The Huntington Beach Downtown Image Ad Hoc Committee will hold its next meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at the Huntington Beach Art Center, 538 Main St. The City Council formed the committee to improve the environment of the downtown area on weekends, evenings and holidays.

The council members assigned to the committee will consider appointment of six interested representatives of the Downtown Business Improvement District and six community members at-large. The meeting is open to the public and any interested individuals are welcome to attend, participate and express their interest in serving on the committee.

The committee is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. the last Monday of each month at varying locations.
