Vanguard women take on Westminster in Jackson

The Vanguard University women’s basketball team continues its quest to defend its NAIA Division I championship today in Jackson, Tenn.

The Lions (30-3), the Golden State Athletic Conference champions who finished the regular season ranked No. 2 in the NAIA, will take on Westminster of Utah today at 10:45 a.m.

Vanguard, led by senior Lauren Gregory, opened the NAIA national tournament with a 72-51 win over Berry of Georgia Wednesday.
