Majors Division
Red Sox 11, Yankees 10: The Red Sox’ Luke Johnston walked in the seventh inning, then stole second base, third and home for a thrilling come-from-behind victory.
Chris Hoffman pitched 2 1/3 innings for the Red Sox, allowing no hits and striking out six. Cameron Kaneko pitched two hitless scoreless innings with four strikeouts.
The Red Sox had eight runs in the first, highlighted by a three-run home run by Kaneko. Johnston, Connor Hurst, Jonathan Gorton, Bryan Rousseau and Quin Gorbould all had singles.
Dodgers 6, Padres 0: The Dodgers improved to 2-0 with the shutout victory.
Michael Gates threw five innings of one-hit ball and Nick Pratto closed the game by striking out the side in the sixth inning.
Dodgers 2, Red Sox 0: The Dodgers’ Logan Pouelsen went 5 2/3 innings and allowed just one hit and Michael Gates secured the save for the Dodgers.
The Red Sox used three pitchers (Connor Hurst, Cameron Kaneko and Chris Hoffman) to also allow just one hit.
The Dodgers scored both runs in the first inning, as Patrick Pockels and Nick Pratto both walked and were driven home on a Pouelsen single.

Minor A Division
Muckdogs 7, Express 5: The Muckdogs pitching trio of Ben McConnell, Spencer Hagaman and Nigel Flum each pitched two innings to help limit the Express bats.
Flum had a single and closed the game with four strikeouts in two innings, including the last out on a strikeout.
Marcus Flum paced the Muckdogs offense, going two for three with a double, single and run battled in. Jack Donahoe was one for three with an RBI.
Ryan St. Pierre pitched two strong innings for the Express. Dylan Chennault had a booming hit to the fence.
Bees 9, Bats 7: Brian Smith pitched 2 2/3 innings for the Bees, striking out four in relief and closing down the Bats offense. Harrison Butler closed out the game with a strikeout to seal the victory.
The Bees had jumped out to an early 8-1 lead on great hitting from the top of their lineup. The Bats came back with a four-run outburst, and the Bats’ middle reliever did a nice job striking out the side on 11 pitches in the fourth inning.

Farm Division
Pepperdine Waves vs. UCLA Bruins: The teams played their first game of the season Saturday, and both teams were in great form. Waves second baseman Danny Gallardo made a great heads-up play, ultimately earning him the game ball. First baseman Aiden Daniels and shortstop Eric Church also made a couple of outs.
During the third inning, the Bruins defense caught a fly ball.

14U West Division
HB Black Flag 7, Long Beach Kaos 6: The HB Flag hosted Kaos on Saturday in an exciting match of offensive skill.
Kaos started off strong with a homer, but Black Flag responded with its own three-run homer from Justice Walker. Strong pitching continued to dominate both teams, with Justine Robles from Kaos and Allison Garcia from Black Flag baffling opposing hitters.
Relief pitcher Katie Goddard ended a Kaos run, and the game ended in the fourth following great defensive plays by Huntington Beach’s Sierra Harbison, who had two assists at third base.
The final out came when a Kaos player tried to steal third, but a vigilant Walker caught her with an aggressive tag.
