CdM product Peotter shining for Colonials

Corona del Mar High product Allison Peotter, a freshman at George Washington University, was named Southern Division Rookie of the Week by the Collegiate Water Polo Assn. on Feb. 24.

Peotter, a driver, had five goals, five assists and 13 steals in four games at the Princeton Invitational.

She had three goals, three assists and two steals in the Colonials’ lone win in the tournament, a 17-7 triumph over Villanova.

Through five games, Peotter led the Colonials (1-4) with 16 steals and her 10 points (five goals and five assists) ranked second on the team.
