Restaurants continue week with cheap menus

Orange County restaurateurs, including several in Newport-Mesa, want to keep the momentum of their inaugural “restaurant week” going so they will continue to serve discount lunches and dinners.

This week the prix-fixe menus will be offered for $10 to $20 person for lunch, and $20, $30 or $40 for dinner.

“With the current economic climate, this additional week will allow diners to continue to experience the region’s best restaurants at a discounted price,” said Pamela Waitt, president of the Orange County Restaurant Assn., in a news release.
