It’s always rough when you hear about a sweet boy like Julian Dunn’s battle with a brain tumor. No one likes to hear about a child having to endure chemotherapy.
We all want our children to grow up laughing, playing and with as few tears as possible. Even when they scrape a knee skateboarding, there’s that strong urge to rush to help.
Now it’s in the hands of the experts — the physicians. They have diagnosed the problem and done the necessary surgery to remove the malignant tumor.
Julian has many long weeks ahead of him, enduring radiation and chemotherapy.
Where we can rush to help is with the staggering medical bills the Dunns will have to eventually pay.
Rich and Andrea Dunn are not wealthy. Rich has his own business handling media relations, and his wife, Andrea, is also self-employed as a grant proposal writer for nonprofit organizations. They need your help.
Come March 21, Newport Mesa Church, 2599 Newport Blvd., will host a Jammin’ for Julian concert to raise money to help defray the medical expenses.
Please do what you can to help.
