Steve Gallian added 15 points and nine rebounds, while Sean Donovan contributed 15 points and five steals to help CdM (10-11, 3-1 in league) move into a three-way tie for first place with Irvine and University.

CdM (7-5-3, 3-0-1 in league) plays host to Laguna Hills on Wednesday at 3:15 p.m.

NEWPORT COAST — Colton Gyulay scored two goals for the Lightning, who remained unbeaten in the Academy League Friday.

Jake Blitzer, Kyle Simon, Ben Capaldi and Taylor Ross scored one goal each. Blitzer, as a golaie, also had four saves and Craig Jackson contributed five saves for Sage Hill (6-1-4, 3-0-1 first place in league).
