Goalies Ally Wallace and Kaylee Shelley combined for 12 saves and the shutout for Estancia (8-7-3, 2-0-2 in league).

LAGUNA BEACH — Junior Natalie Argueta scored in the 25th minute for the Mustangs in their Orange Coast League game Thursday.

Senior Ayla Medina had an assist. Senior goalie Jessica Rubright had four saves for Mesa (8-5-6, 3-0-1 in league).

CORONA DEL MAR — Junior Hayley Raguse scored once and had an assist to help the Sea Kings prevail in the Pacific Coast League game Thursday.

Raguse converted an assist from Kaylee O’Connor in the 19th minute, then doubled the CdM lead in the 52nd minute by setting up a goal by Alexandra Reinach.

Beckman converted a penalty kick in the final minute, as CdM goalies Sarah Cox (first half) and Lindsey Luke split eight saves in what Coach Bryan Middleton called a great team effort.

CdM improved to 7-3-6, 2-1 in league.

Newport Harbor 3,

FOUNTAIN VALLEY — Junior Elizabeth Eddy scored a goal and had an assist for the Sailors in their Sunset League game Thursday.

Freshman Savanna Gastineau scored for Newport (4-9-1, 2-3 in league). Lauren DeVoy also found the back of the net, converting a deflected shot taken by Gillian Hogan.

NEWPORT BEACH — Sailors junior Nathan Dickey stunned Stewart Lum, ranked No. 4 in Orange County at 152 pounds, with a 9-4 decision in the Sunset League match Thursday at Newport Harbor.

It was only Dickey’s second varsity match of the season, according to Coach Dominic Bulone.

Senior Eric Nordstrom (160 pounds) pinned his opponent in the third period, while Sailors John Leyva (171) and Beaudette Bradley (189) won by forfeit.

Newport fell to 6-9, 0-3 in league.
